We have created a checklist that guarantees all components of your custom-made dumbwaiters, crew, cargo, passenger and platform lifts are up to industry standards.

This list makes sure all aspects of your lift are up to date and in working order, fixing any issues that arise. 

General

  • Ride comfort correct
  • Levelling equal to floor level
  • Landing buttons and displays working correctly
  • Easily accessible controller and drive
  • First impression correction
  • Spare parts up to date

 

Lift Controller

  • Read out failure stacks and rectified
  • Relays and controller in good condition
  • Test PTC
  • Test fire input and output
  • Test emergency mode (UPS)
  • Test safety gear drive/rupture valve
  • Test emergency switch(es)
  • Test run time limiter
  • Notices and signs in place
  • Batteries are in good condition or need to be replaced
  • UPS and alarm are working properly

Lift Drive

  • No strange motor noises
  • Brake correct adjusted
  • No oil leakage gearbox
  • No oil leakage valve block
  • Cylinder, traction sheave or drum is in good condition
  • Pressure relief valve tested
  • Hand Pump relief valve tested
  • Manual emergency levelling working
  • Notices and signs in place and correct

 

Shaft Door

  • No damaged panels
  • Belts, ropes, pulley wheels and suspension correct
  • Door and lock contact(s) correct and adjusted
  • Door rollers and contra rollers in good condition
  • Door Lock is in good condition
  • No exceptional wear and tear
  • No gaps around the panels
  • No emergency stop when pulling at the door panels

Car Door

  • No damaged panels
  • Belts, ropes, pulley wheels and suspension correct
  • Check door and lock contact(s) and adjust when needed
  • Door rollers and contra rollers in good condition
  • Unlocking cam in good condition
  • No exceptional wear and tear
  • No gaps around the panels

 

Lift Car

  • Control buttons and level indicator working
  • No damaged walls and ceiling
  • Light and Emergency light correct
  • Speed car door is correct and all protections working
  • Alarm button working
  • Emergency intercom working
  • No gaps in the car 
  • Inspection buttons and stop working
  • All safety switches are correct, adjusted and working
  • All components and cabling are in good condition
  • Suspension rope attachment is in good condition
  • Notices and signs in place and correct

Shaft

  • Clean, proper and correctly illuminated
  • Switches and magnets in good condition
  • All guide shoes are in good condition
  • Hoses, pipes and couplings leakage free
  • Suspension ropes in good condition
  • Pulley wheels, bearings and seals are in good condition
  • Speed governor and spanner in good condition
  • Wire rope speed governor in good condition
  • Travelling cable in good condition
  • All components and cabling are in good condition
  • Safety areas guaranteed and tested
  • Buffers correct and not dried out
  • Guide lubrication and oil level correct
  • Notices and signs in place and correct
  • Spillways upwards measure
  • Spillways downwards measure distance to limit switch up measure
  • Distance to limit switch down measure
